While visiting Amsterdam it’s almost impossible not to notice the amount of bicycles in the city. Everyone rides them - everyone! From hipsters to business men to a family of 3 all on 1 bicycle. It’s incredible! After a month long trip to the wonderful city of Amsterdam we’ve returned with a new collection up our sleeve. May I introduce the Lomo Bicycle Series.

We jumped sides – SF to NY. As of January 1st, we’re located in Brooklyn, NY. San Francisco has been wonderful and we already miss it. We’d like to thank everyone in SF for their support over the past couple years… thank you. So I guess this is good bye San Francisco. 
On a good note, we’re optimistic and excited about what New York has in store for us. Hello New York!
I walked into a new coffee shop in the Mission called Sugarlump Coffee Lounge and stumbled upon the wonderful artwork of a local artist named Robert Donald. His work got my attention and dare I say moved me. The use of direction, composition and color make his work very stimulating. The layers and large spaces of single color tones create a peaceful complexity. This is art that any art lover would be privileged to hang on their wall.

A soon-to-be DripStick photographer and friend, Matthew Sumi, came to San Francisco to visit. While here he took a few pictures. Many of you have seen the DripStick team at the Ferry Building in San Francisco. These are pictures of us selling there. It’s always fun to meet the wonderful people who like & buy DripStick artwork. DripStick was one of many city wide artists that participated in Big Deal. Over 600 works of art were donated. Big Deal is an event put on by a nonprofit, Visual Aid, that helps artists with life-threatening illnesses and diseases continue their creative work. The event draws a cult like following by offering a first come first served basis of purchasing availability. All artwork was sold for a fixed price of $150 per piece. Ours went in the top 30. Yee-haw!

DripStick was awarded Best of Show at the Castro Street Fair. The CSF was a great success! We had a wonderful time and met a lot of great people. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi and, of course, everyone who couldn’t walk away empty handed.
The Castro Street Fair is a crazy one. There are tons of people who show for the live music, beer garden, exhibit themselves and meet with friends. It’s nothing short of being action packed.
